Born in 1964, Plymouth, he immigrated with his family to Cape Town in 1966. He spent the latter of his teenage years in Natal where he obtained a 1 year fashion diploma from Natal Technikon.
Self taught, he has been dedicated and committed to his talents and successfully worked and established himself as an artist over the past 25 years.
His work is characteristics of several styles and influenced by various arts periods from Pop Art to Modern Art, Surrealism, Art Deco & African Art. He is fluent in the medium of acrylic and oil paint on canvas and Gauche on water paper.
He has an appreciation for detail and enjoys exploring fantasy worlds of sexual innuendos as well as African and Khoisan symbolism which is most evident working in gauche.
